I’ve known Brittany since we were in 1st grade together. She was the second person that I met when my family moved across Washington State from Cheney to Centralia/Chehalis, and she has always been such a fun and happy person. In all of the years I’ve known her, I haven’t seen her as happy as she is when she’s with Jon.
Brittany told me months ago that Jon doesn’t like to get his photo taken (let me tell you a secret, most guys don’t, so I wasn’t surprised). I was expecting to have to goof around with him a little to loosen him up, but it turned out he was great–I could tell that his comfort level and the love that he felt being around Brittany made him relax and be willing to do what makes her happy–and photos are definitely important to her as part of her personal history.
Throughout the time Brittany and I spent together we reminisced about when we were kids, with Brittany telling Jon about stories about us growing up together. I also got to learn about the beginning of their relationship, and a few of their stories in between.
Their love and care toward each other could not be denied. It was so sweet being able to see how easily they sunk into each others' arms as I snapped photos of the two of them.
Thank you Brittany and Jon for including me in this amazing time in your lives! I am so happy for you!
