Growing up, one of my favorite things was to watch/ help (but mostly watch) my grandma and mom bake...
Licking the beaters, and stealing little nibbles of peanut buttery cookie dough, mmmmmm...
My Grandma Charlotte was such a perfectionist, one time when I stayed at her house for a summer we were baking and she threw away 3 batches of homemade frosting because it wasn't absolutely perfect. She passed away recently, and I just had to make some of her famous peanut butter blossoms!
Now, I'm going to give you all her recipe, so the world can enjoy how wonderful she was.
Peanut Butter Blossoms from Grandma Charlotte:

- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 3 1/2 cups flour
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 10 oz. pkgs Hershey kisses
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cream sugars, butter and peanut butter.
Beat in eggs, milk and vanilla.
Sift together flour, baking sodaand salt; stir into egg mixture.
Shape into balls, roll in sugar.
Place on un- greased cookie sheet.
Bake for 10- 12 minutes.
Remove from oven.
Place a kiss in each cookie.
Return to oven for 1 minute (this step will make or break your cookie).
Let cookies cool for 4-5 minutes before removing cookies.
Eat and Enjoy!
